The title might be a bit over dramatic, but my week of computer abstinence is over, and it was lovely. I read, I went to the library, I thought. Yes, thought. I never noticed before, but I used the computer to keep from thinking, to constantly entertain my brain, and when it was gone, two days later I had my first thought. It was amazing, and hard to describe, but I'm so glad it happened.
I also learned that I really like embroidery, and home decor magazines. I also realized that I want a career in holistic medicine. Pretty cool! I also lost a few pounds, which is ALWAYS exciting. Always. It can't be denied ever.
Ironically, I also realized I dislike my mom's decorating sense and spent most of my time lieing on my bed. Lazy? Yes, but it's the only place I like to be in the house. Sad really. But what can I do? I try to help her make the house pretty, but she doesn't take the advice too well. Oh well.
I'm back! Yes! But I'm not too much interested in wasting my time on the computer anymore. Good idea? Probably. Or at least until I plug in my desktop and get sucked into the world of The Sims 2. Again.
