A Novel Idea!

For some reason, I'm full of puns currently, but I'll try to keep them to myself. I hate cheesy puns just as badly as the next person. Anyway, I've suddenly come up with a lovely, shiny-new idea for a novel, which is going to come into the world with the Olympia. I've barely got a plot, I have no character names, the the only setting is a manufacturing town in Germany. I know NOTHING about Germany, and without a time period it makes it a bit complicated. That and...what should I do about the language difference? I can't decide to make the characters natives or transplants. Or maybe both.

The other problem I have is that I can't find a replacement ribbon. The one equipped is old and dry, and I swear I have another lying around, but I can't find it! So I might have to sit on my brain-child for a few days, which would either lead to:

A. the idea being scrapped

B. the idea getting even better

It's a 50/50 with me, as most ideas are, and I'd rather not sit on it, but I can't currently type it. There's this feeling of nostalgia along with post-apocalyptic handbook that's running through me, and I need a new ribbon or it's never going to come into the world.

This is distressing.

Also, I made a quick cover for it, because I'm THAT cool.

Yes? No? I like it. Too bad I can't make it myself. The typewriter needs to be shiny in person. *whine*

A cover is half the battle! Nice title.

Ha, now if only the other half would come out perfectly formed and ready to be published. That'd be nice.

I'm also less interested in the cover than I was the day I posted it, buuuut whatever. I can play with it.

I do love my title. It's the bestest thing I think I've ever come up with! What it means? No idea. I just love it. It sounds all...mysterious.
