The Alpha Conventions Club

I have no idea where my novel is going, but at least I have the prelude done. It was short, it's narrated by an unknown character, and the pretentiousness is palpable. I love it dearly.

Sadly, I don't know if I was to continue on with the 1st person narrative, or switch to 3rd. I could easily write more pages with this narrator who is so dear to my heart, but I get bored. Really bored. And I get bored reading it. I'm not sure I can keep said narrative interesting for long spans of time. I could always switch narrators, but I feel it's cliche. Then again, there are only so many ways to write a novel. Or skin a cat. Or play a banjo, or whatever other metaphor you like.

I have the first page down. It's all downhill from there.
