I'mma Bargin Hunter

Yea, so I just scored this
on barnes&noble for $2.01. Why yes, I am awesome. Real leather, Italian made, should arrive before Christmas. Coolness. I'm pretty sure I'm going to write my novel in it. Well, a novel, because I'm out of ideas. I've just been bumming it around since finals are over, completely sick of writing and giving my brain a much needed break. 10 page papers are killer. Hopefully, this'll inspire me when I get it, and hopefully it'll take fountain pen ink. That'd be nice. We'll see, and I don't care! I'll use anything, it's just so lovely.

Surprising

I never thought I'd be the target of spam. I'm not popular enough! But it happened, and I must say, that means I'm doing something right, right?

Anyway, now that most of my college work is done (yay!) I have a bit of stress free time to blog. I've been using both of my fountain pens almost non stop, loving them to death. I've been racking up point with my toolbar to get one more b&n gift card, and I've been selling trash on ebay. Oh, and I've been trying desperately to find things to give for Christmas (or Yule, which I like better).

Also, I had to write paper for a class, and I got to workshop it with a grammar nazi. She ripped it apart, which doesn't surprise me in the least because I already know any massive amount of my own words will lead to run on's and who knows what else. Especially when I'm typing. But that got me thinking. I should buy a book on grammar. So I began to look, and then I remembered I had one from the dual enrollment in high school. Yay already acquired college books! It has the basics, so whatever. I really don't think I need much more than that.

Also, THIS IS MY LAST WEEK OF CLASS!!!! I'm so ridiculously excited I could spontaneously combust. Finals, hopefully, will be so ridiculously easy that nothing will really matter. I can't wait to get these last few papers out of my way and be free for the winter. I need a break desperately. How do you guys with jobs handle all this stress? I couldn't do it. Sheesh.

I also made pound cake. And I love it.

Sadly, my typewriter has been collecting dust. I can't wait to bang out a few more pages of my want-to-be-serious-but-will-probably-turn-into-a-parody Victorian romance drivel.

I also have the first edition of Jane Eyre, and I plan to read that in a week.

Oh, and Speegle, I will get that critique done for you, I promise. That's pretty high on my in-mind-list. Really. I totally didn't forget.
