Heat Sucks

You know what I hate? Summer. You wanna know why? It gets HOT! Ugh, I hate the heat. I swear, as soon as college is over I'm moving to Maine, or somewhere akin to it.

Anyway, I'm going to sit at this computer, in the air conditioning that could be a lot colder, and watch the House marathon until my mom makes me do something else pointless and mundane, like the dishes, and cooking for the cook out that I'm going to whine about pretty soon. I'm not eating outside, bugs and everything.

Man I hate being hot. I was pulling the massive amount of weeds in my garden today, in the 80 degrees direct sun. It took three grocery bags. Then I planted some stuff, and played servant to my grandmother. Yay. I think I have sunburn, which is totally lame.

Alright, I'll stop complaining. I did finally buy some records on eBay. $16, but supposedly I'm getting two. We'll see. It's been a week; how long does it take to ship things from Cali?

Well this is fun. I'm not even going to have time to talk about all the nice things that happened today (which is like, nothing anyway) because here's everyone for the unhealthy amount of food they're about it eat.

If you haven't noticed, I'm really cynical today. I probably shouldn't have even posted, but I feel like I should kind of let you guys in on what I've been doing (which is also like, nothing).

I painted a picture yesterday. Don't be too impressed, it was abstract.

LOL you know what's funny. I just moved a little over a month ago from MA to Houston TX. You want to talk about heat. It was 98 degrees from like 10 o'clock till like 7. It's 85 right now and its 10 at night. Its been giving me and Mike Speegs crazy dreams and keeping us up. We have been writing a lot though.

You'd love it here on the Maine coast. 52 degrees and a sea breeze.
Always damp here- if it isn't fog and rain, it's snow! Well- not always. When the summer kicks in, it's gorgeous- but hardly ever stifling.

(yikes- don't leave the LP records in the sun!)
